About STB

The Camas-Washougal Busuness Alliance (CWBA) has been doing a food drive called “Stuff the Bus” for 14 years. It’s a local drive, the largest in our area, and met with much enthusiasm annually. We utilize the Camas & Washougal school districts to help achieve our goals. The students volunteer their time and efforts to support the program and we enjoy getting to know our amazing local leaders.

Each year, we raise an average of 40,000 pounds of food for our beneficiaries. They include the Children’s Home Society, the C.A.R.O.L. Program and the American Legion of Skamania County.

In 2021, we still face challenges from the pandemic and are seeing a rise in the amount of families that need our support. We are counting on grants, donations from local business and donations of food or cash from our community members like you!

All money and food go 100% toward our local community. The Children’s Home Society is the main beneficiary and they serve over 600 local families a month with the food we provide. Our goal every year is that through this food drive they have enough food to serve the community for the entire year. They also provide food for kids through the backpack program. Any student who is in need of food on Friday gets a backpack full of food to help them through the weekend. Our other beneficiaries provide 200 local families with food for the holiday’s including Christmas dinner and then additional food to supplement for a short time.

We can’t do it without your support and thank you for any donation of food or cash you can make. Visit our home page to make an online donation, or check out our flyer for other ways to support our program.
